Is it me or does AVP:Reqieum plot resemble Resident Evil Apocalypse? Both films focus on a group of survivors trying to escape a city before it's nuked. Both end with the helicopter knocked out of the sky by said nuke.If so then talk about a bad role model for making a film. While still crap at least the the first AVP's role models were Out The Mountains of Madness and Dan O' Bannon's original StarBeast treatment.Just a thought.
Nothing the God of biomechanics wouldn't let you in heaven for

I believe the first AVP was based on the last couple levels of the first and third Tomb Raider games. Paul W S Anderson has a knack for ripping stuff from video games.

ninXeno426 hmmmm yes it I did think that scene at the end of AVP:R seemed familiar somehow.....there you have it. Lol not setting the bar high when you copy a Paul W.S Anderson film.... (except Event Horizon that was quality)

At least you could see something in the RE scene, you couldn't in AVPR.

Lmao so true.I've always kinda noticed.Neither film is very good, both Paul Anderson associated lol

@ Xenotaris, A team employed by Mr. Weyland investigate an ancient construct within which xenomorph based bioweaponry is unleashed. SOunds like Alien, AvP, Prometheus, and to some extent Covenant. Bad mouth Anderson all you want, but Ridley basically remade AvP and called Prometheus.
