This week on my Gaming Blog, I am having something of an Alien and Predator week, following the overwhelming feedback for my proposal for an Aliens: Isolation that has seen the developer of the fan game Alien: Hope for the Future join Scified. Yesterday I posted a proposal for an isometric 3D Aliens game, that could become an Alien vs Predator game, later today I will look at some of the highlights of Alien video games of the past, with a Predator themed proposal on Thursday and for Friday a look back at an Alien game of yesteryear in my weekly Flashback Friday.

Alien vs. Predator 3 – What We Know So Far
Officially, Alien vs. Predator 3 remains in concept phase for the time being. A reboot of the iconic crossover has been discussed on numerous occasions, with chatter picking up heavily from 20th Century Studios back in the Fall of 2024 after the successful release of Fede Alvarez's Alien: Romulus. The blending of Alien and Predator cinematic universes was further solidified in 2025 with Dan Trachtenberg's Predator: Badlands. The two movie monsters continue to coexist in the same timeline, but their conflict has not yet been realized since 2007. A reboot of Alien vs. Predator would likely ret-con the existing 2 entries and establish a completely new AvP timeline.
